Job Description
- Multiple permanent and temporary opportunities
- Inner West, Sydney locations - parking on site
- Full time hours across Monday - Saturday (38 hours per week)

We’re on the lookout for a motivated, hands-on and customer-focused Trade Counter Assistants to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of front-counter customer service, technical support, and service assitance. You’ll be assisting both Trade and DIY customers with product advice, coordinating warranty or service requests, and keeping the daily operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- First point of contact for walk-in customers and phone/email inquiries.
- Assist trade and retail customers with product selections, technical advice, and placing orders – full training provided.
- Help customers with returns, warranties, repairs and maintenance queries.
- Operate the point-of-sale system including EFTPOS and cash handling.
- Build your understanding of the products to troubleshoot issues and guide customers.
- Restock shelves, assist with unloading/loading vehicles and keep the trade counter tidy.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail or a service assistant role (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Tech-savvy or willing to learn systems like CRM and POS software.
- Ability to lift and move stock when required.
