Location: Laverton, VIC
Salary: $70K – $85K base + time in lieu for occasional weekend work
Hours: Mostly Monday–Friday, with some weekend work as required

Are you a logistics professional with a strong background in event bump-in and bump-out? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment where no two days are the same?
We are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to oversee and manage logistics operations for weddings, exhibitions, corporate events, and more. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a hands-on approach, and experience optimising logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Logistics Management – Oversee logistics for events, ensuring equipment, materials, and personnel are in the right place at the right time.
  • Team Leadership & Training – Lead and train the logistics team to ensure high performance and efficiency.
  • Process Improvement – Identify and implement improvements to logistics operations to enhance efficiency.
  • Supplier & Vendor Management – Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Inventory Control – Manage the procurement, storage, and distribution of event materials and equipment.
  • On-Site Supervision – Oversee event logistics on the day, ensuring smooth bump-in and bump-out.
  • Safety & Compliance – Maintain high safety and compliance standards, including risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in logistics management, preferably within the events or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational abilities.
  • Experience improving logistics processes for greater efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends as required (with time in lieu).
Desirable
  • Experience working on weddings, exhibitions, and corporate events.
  • Strong background in inventory and supplier management.
  • Familiarity with event planning software or logistics tools.
